FanHome is the distributor of many very detailed kits. When subscribed to one of the kits, each month you will receive several "stages" that contain parts for the build. The Back to the Future DeLorean consists of 158 stages. Each month 5 stages are sent to the subscriber.

The Back to the Future DeLorean is 1:8 scale dicast/plastic highly detailed model of the DeLorean used in the Back to the Future film.

Stages and My Build

The following table outlines each stage of the build. A navigation menu has been provided to make it easier to view a particular stage. Hover the mouse pointer over a stage in the navigation menu and a tooltip will pop up with a brief description of what that stage contains. Click the stage number to go to that stage. In the stage table, under the Description column, there is a link to return to the stage navigation menu

001	Stage 001 contains the license plate, rear bumper and rear section that includes the tail lights. Only the right tail light assembly is in stage 001, the left tail light assembly is in stage 002. 003	Stage 003 contains the parts to complete one of the four tires, rims and hubcaps. Return to the stage navigation menu	Tire, Hubcap, Rim, Hub, Washer and (3) BP Screws. Do not install the washer and hubcap at this time, even though the instructions tell you to do so. It will have to be removed in a later stage. Therefore; store them in a safe place. 013 & 015	Stage 013 & 015 contains the parts for the rear wheels, includes the tires, rims, hubcaps, hubs, washers, (6) BP Screws and (2) GM Screws. Return to the stage navigation menu	Stage 013 & 015 contains the parts for the rear wheels including the Tires, Hubcaps, Rims, Washers, Hubs and (6) BP Screws and (2) GM Screws. Do not install the washers and hubs at this time, even thought the instructions tell you to do so. It will have to be removed in a later stage. Therefore; store them in a safe place. After Stage 015, most of the rear suspension will have been assembled. The completed stages 012 to 015 are shown in the photos in the column to the right.
